How the STAR1 cylinder works?

The multistage cylinder is a double acting, single rod end cylinder that multiplies the output force by supplying air to 2, 3, 4 or more pistons on extension.

It saves space and eliminates the need for:

-higher pressure systems -air-oil boosters

- bigger bore cylinders - hydraulic cylinders

On the return stroke, only one piston is powered, saving air volume and operating costs. It also increases working speed.
